Our most advanced spectral camera is almost here. The SIFcam is a dual-camera, snapshot imaging system designed to measure solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) at high spatial resolution under natural sunlight, enabling non-invasive assessment of photosynthetic activity and plant stress. Engineered for flexibility in ground- and drone-based field applications, the system enables imaging in the O₂A absorption band around 760 nm, where background solar radiation is significantly reduced.

We're building an open-source database for chlorophyll fluorescence data – contributed by the SIFcam community, accessible to all. Users can upload their own measurements, compare across regions, overlay with known reference datasets, and contribute to a growing collective understanding of plant health, stress, and productivity.
